My Art Supplies

Welcome back. I had a request to show my art supplies to you guys, so that's what I'll be doing in this post. I'm super excited! First off, let me just start off my showing you my crochet hooks.

These are the two hooks I mainly use when I crochet. I like how the pink one has a nice bamboo handle and how the yellow one has a really smooth neck, which makes the yarn slide off easily!

Speaking of crochet, I just have one quick thing I wanted to show you! I recently made a sweater for myself and I just LOVE it! It keeps me so warm. It worked up really fast! I got the pattern from a wonderful, well written book called Kids Crochet! It starts from the very basics, and keeps getting more advanced! If any of you are interested in learning crochet, I would highly recommend that book to you! Anyways, here's the sweater!

To make this sweater, I used soft, lightweight Wool Ease Lion Brand yarn. I love the creamy color, because it goes with everything, but doesn't get dirty as fast as white does!

And for the edging I used Debra Norville super soft bright magenta. 

So let's get back on track now. These are my woodless colored pencils. I especially love them because when you sharpen them the tip doesn't fall off like the Crayola colored pencils. It has a really strong foundation. And I have to say these are the best quality colored pencils I've ever used. My mom said they were super super cheap and they last for such a long time. 

I do have to say they can be a little delicate. My hot pink colored pencil snapped in half because I was pressing on it too hard without realizing it. 

Next up is my favorite ribbon. It's nice and thick and has wired edges. I usually use this for gift wrapping. 

I also prefer to use the really nice thick permanent markers and here's what one looks like.

This is my origami paper. I had a few things on origami up on my blog earlier. Let me know on my next poll if you would like me to do more origami. And now days, if you go out to buy origami paper, it is just so amazing because it comes in so many different colors and styles!
